Because it is the same as the 1000. I've owned a Ferrari 3000, the first Ferrari to come out. It was expensive as hell but worth all the money. Now I've got a 1000 - nice little thing, too. As with all AMD processors, battery isn't great for a portable. Doesn't even compare to my MacBook, where I can watch movies and work for hours without needing to plug it to the wall. Is that a real photo of the 1100? Because it is the same as the 1000.

As with all AMD processors, battery isn’t great for a portable. Doesn’t even compare to my MacBook, where I can watch movies and work for hours without needing to plug it to the wall.

A UMPC has a screen size of normally 7 inches (the range goes from 4.8 to 8.9 inches) and it's usually a touch screen. Obviously the case is also much smaller and I have not yet seen a UMPC that you would be able to fit an optical drive in.
