The progressive phases of the moon graphically chart a shimmering pattern across the width of this intriguing calendar.
This useful calendar was designed by Irwin Glusker and measures 18h x 32″l. It only costs $17 for non-members, or $15 for members of the the MoMA Store. There is an obvious choice to have access to the same info for free, instead of buying the product, like checking a website .

1Last night…Feb 28th ‘09…I saw the entire moon’s outline, and the bottom was the only white showing…the exact bottom…not any kind of tilt to it. It looked like someone had poured a bit of white into it. Just a small part of the entire bottom was white and curved upwards on both sides…like a ‘U’…only the upwards part of the white only went up about a fourth of the way. I cannot find any pics of a moon-phase that looks like what I saw. Has anyone else seen the moon like this, or am I the only one?
Thanks….I wish I would have had a camera with me, so I could show you what I saw.
