Cool? I got my 2nd Gen iPod Touch 16G. Unfortunately, I dropped it on a bar table (about 8" drop). It landed on its corner. My 5-day old iPod Touch glass screen is shattered. Unit still working fine but cannot use without overlay plastic to avoid cutting my finger. It's frustrating how fragile this thing is. I've checked forums discussing this and looks like it's going to cost about $100 for apple to fix it. Scratch resistant glass is very fragile. Well, looks like your key cannot scratch the surface - however, it's definitely gonna break it... Palm Pilot PDAs were better designed in term of the touch screen. They are not as scratch resistant as Ipod ouch/Iphones but it will not break if you drop the unit.

Still looking what my option is.
