Clearly it’s a stylized “P”, but I think it’s ugly. Communication? What does that have to do with a painting program, I mean besides some indirect association like “art is a form of communication”. Also the gel look is years out of date. I’m surprised this is even official.

Photoshop HAS a logo already, which was an eye, which frankly makes a lot more sense than a SPEECH bubble for a program that has absolutely nothing to do with speech.

Well the speech bubble represents communication… the circle and pill shape I think is meant to be a stylised eye.. and the circle and the white space below it is meant to be human shape (the circle is the head)

looks like a microsofty looking icon and name to me, looks just like SilverLight, and same font and look
