One of the best sold items in the “geek” online store thinkgeek, is the original PlusDeck which is an internal tape drive. Despite having a large price, no one else makes this drive, at least not that we know of, but it certainly drove enough interest for the company to create a new model of it’s popular device.

This PlusDeck EX can turn your cassette’s music into MP3, and place MP3 songs on a cassette. It also has a radio, and I’m guessing, you can record from your radio to a cassette, or straight to the computer (maybe).

I wonder if 10 years from now we will have to purchase similar devices but to listen or view the current disks we use (CD and DVD).
