Today, the first real look at “Wolverine and the X-Men”, a new animated Marvel series, has made its way online. It appears that the BBC has locked in to air the series in the UK, but there is no word on what station will run the series in the US – although Kid’s WB is a likely choice.

The show is yet another adaption of the X-Men franchise in animated form, this time focusing on Wolverine – presumably because the Wolverine solo fiilm is in production.

The designs for this series seem to be based heavily on the current Astonishing X-Men costumes. It will be interesting to see what direction this series takes.
