Like it was mentioned in our previous Blu-Ray Status article, all upcoming Blu-Ray players will now come with their own version of Java which will supposedly allow them to add new interactive features, similar to the ones found on some HD-DVD titles.

The player has HDMI 1.3 output, supports Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD and 1080p upscaling of DVD videos. Sharp plans to release the player this fall in Europe, and follow closely afterwards in the United States.
