Some people pay no attention to how good or bad their hardware looks when they are purchasing it. For others, the design of a product can make a world of difference, and from Apple’s sales, we can assume that making well-designed products pays off in terms of sale numbers.
To please the people who enjoy beautiful hardware, Sony got together with artist Maya Hayuk and will release special edition Vaio FZ laptops with her artwork both on the outside and on the wallpaper of the laptop.

Unfortunately, at the time of writing, there is no reference to the laptop’s specifications. Usually, FZ series laptop’s specifications are above average, but still, it wouldn’t hurt to see if the machine’s inside is as beautiful as it’s outside.

1beautiful! but i think it is kind of weird people would actually spend a lot of money to buy a special design edition of a laptop instead of buying a design for their existing one? there are beautiful designs out there, e.g. at http://www.laptopskins.net – and they are even removable. so: way to go sony, i wish all the manufacturers would offer something like this.
