1Yeah but that’s not the biggest difference. The biggest difference is the cost. That IBM thing probably cost $100,000.00 in it’s day. The tiny one (you should have shown a microSD for significant contrast, CF cards are considered huge by todays standards) can be had for less than $50.

2hmm, a museum here in norway has a 1MB ibm drive plate in their collection. the plate is about 1meter in diameter!
