Puts a whole ton of keys within reach of your fingers, but for actual typing? I'd never even consider it. But yeah, makes the ol' WASD configuration work even better than on a standard keyboard. The whole idea of using a keyboard (well) is to learn where the keys are by muscle memory, so you don't even have to look at the thing. You learn this as part of touch typing.
