BestBuy – one of the biggest electronic retail stores on the US, and Mydeo – a video hosting website, worked together to create a video sharing/hosting website for BestBuy.

BestBuy

Why will people use their system instead of YouTube or other similar sites that can store/share video content? According tho the VP of BestBuy, this video service will offer privacy (duh) and won’t have with ads, unlike what happens with 99% of the other cases.

As you can imagine, this service won’t be available for free. A subscription method is being used with a base plan that costs $7 per month and lets users upload 100 minutes of video content, with a maximum length of 30 minutes per each video.

Good? Or bad? I still prefer the free alternatives…
