4x certainly isn’t lighting fast, but it’s getting better. The new BWU-200S can burn a 50 gb Blu-Ray disk in about 45 minutes. It can also burn to BD-RE at 2x, DVD±R at 16x, dual-layer DVD±R at 8x, CD-R at 40x and CD-RW at 24x. The unit also features a SATA interface and comes with the “CyberLink BD Solution” – which is, of course, software to handle the capture, encoding, and recording of all your Blu-Ray content.
