LG has recently announced in Korea a new home theater system that looks like an over-sized DAP. It’s name is LG HT972TR (no, I’m not expecting you to memorize it either) and it comes with all sorts of snazzy features to turn your living room into the ultimate entertainment center.
the LG H972TR, a 5.1 home theater which includes a DVD player, has an HDMI output with upscaling (for DVD obviously), a USB port in order to plug your USB Key full of MP3s, compatible with MP3, WAV, WMA, JEPG and DivX files, and which can ultimately fake the 10.1, thanks to the VSM or Virtual Sound Matrix) technology….

It sounds like an incredible and feature-packed system, although the lack of AAC support will turn Apple owners off. According to the Akihabaranews author, the Korean version comes with the cute girl, so it seems like this is the sound system for any self-respecting lonely Korean geek.
