Hello Kitty gadgets are quite common on the other side of the Pacific, but I think this is the first time where the “Hello Kitty-ness” goes skin deep. This Hello Kitty phone is not only themed on the outside, but also in the “inside”. All of the menus and icons are pink and white, and there are random Hello Kitty faces spread throughout it.

The phone is GSM, which means you can use it in most parts of the world, comes with a 2Mp digital camera, and can play MP3 and MP4 music, and 3GPS video. It’s by no means a revolutionary device, but it is certainly one of the most detailed ones.

Contrary to other “special edition” gadgets, it isn’t just the original model with a different color scheme and random images, so in that aspect, this ugly white-and-pink device has won my respect.
