		<description>Haven&#039;t read the original article, but I doubt Google would enter the VOIP market directly. Their core business is advertising and I wonder how they would do that with a voice service. Google Talk fits their needs perfectly to embrace the whole web without having to spend much costs related to this by-product.

Furthermore, Skype is a very closed protocol, in light of all Google products it would have to open up a lot.</description>
