Any hard core geek will surely appreciate receiving Dr. Who DVDs for Christmas. The new retooling of the Dr. Who mythos by the BBC is said to be the best ever yet. it’s so good that it’s already well on its way to its fourth season. The BBC has managed to finally remove any semblance of campiness to the well-loved character and has given it a more serious, edgier treatment that really works well.
The third season DVD set of Dr. Who is now available for purchase and serves as a great present to fellow geeks and and science fiction fans. The third season sees the introduction of Freema Agyeman, the new sidekick of sorts after the departure of the well-loved (that’s contestable though) Rose, which was played by Billie Piper.
The DVD set is said to contain many extras that will surely make it worth the purchase.
