Among Spider-man’s rogue’s gallery, I have to say Scorpion is one of my least favorites. I am not too sold on his origin story (a private investigator hired by J Jonah Jameson, who was eventually used in an experiment to grant him scorpion-like powers), and really, even though he may be the bad guy I’d probably die laughing first if I see an actual Scorpion villain in real life. Imagine a bright green guy in tights with a humongous tail attached to him. How does he even go to the toilet?

Having said that, the new Bowen mini-bust of Scorpion is anything but laughable. In fact, it is one of the best sculpts I’ve seen in a while. The pose is very kinetic and really makes Scorpion look so bad-ass.

The Scorpion mini-bust is expected to ship during the first quarter of 2008 and will cost $54.99.
