If you are a fan of rejoicing with the word w00t, with zero’s instead of the normal “o” for vowels, then you will be happy to know that Merriam-Webster, in their 2007 Word of the Year contest, has added the interjection used to express joy to their dictionary.
In 2004 it was blog. In 2005 it was integrity. Last year it was truthiness. This year, among the twenty words competing for Merriam-Webster’s 2007 Word of the Year contest, are seven words that aren’t quite dictionary material just yet.

All I can say is w00t, though some people think that this is nothing more than a link-bait like tactic. My thoughts on that are basically to do what? Get us interested in owning dictionaries? Highly doubtful.
