Postsecret might have been around for a while, but it’s something that I haven’t blogged about.  This is for a couple of reasons, but not least as I didn’t feel I had a forum in which to express what I really felt about the site.  Now that I have more of a place to discuss it, I’d like to draw your attention to it.

Postsecret is based on a fantastically simple formula.  Simply, people are invited to post in their secrets – whatever they may be.  Some are funny, others are sad but they are all genuine secrets from genuine people – people like you and me.

I’ll say straight away that I’m in love with this site for a few reasons.  There’s nothing quite so good an idea as a simple one – and this perfectly matches that formula.  When an idea is this simple, why complicate it?  The other reason I love this site is that these secrets resonate.  I am sure that you’ll see one that will break your heart and if you buy the books you may well see a secret that you share with someone else.
