I’m quite excited about my recent new purchase. A photographer friend of mine called me and asked me if I know anyone who wants to buy his well taken care of Sigma lens 24 – 70mm F2.8. I’ve used this lens before when we would meet up in events and I was quite impressed. Of course, I jumped at the opportunity to get the lens especially for a giveaway price (and on easy payment terms, too!). My Canon 400D now has a new partner and I can now leave the kit lens on the dry box semi-permanently.
I know photography enthusiasts would balk at the idea of using third party lenses for cameras. But, hey, I’m not particular about these things. I’m not a professional photographer anyway. I just do this as a hobby. I’m not going to spend a large amount of money for just a hobby.
I am waiting for my friend to deliver the lens to me and I’ll try to post some pictures when I get the chance.
