You know, Second Life keeps getting picked up - I still really believe that some pick it up and see something which a lot of others do not - whether that is a training tool, a game or something else. I've never engaged much with it, but I have heard it's quite a strange place to inhabit.

hmm, considering the training needed for this to work not sure its really that smart a move. Motivating sales staff to logon Second Life and participate in training would be pretty hard.

it could raise interest but think in person training would still be better in those situations.

"I am not sure if I can really understand the fascination with adding such tools to the workplace."
I can see benefit, ie reduced cost to train but still think over mechanisms might work better.
