Is your yard plagued with birds? From pigeons to sparrows, woodpeckers to crows, the programmable BirdXPeller promises to have your fine-feathered friends enemies packing up their things and heading to any yard but yours.

Much of the work is done sonically (within a 1 acre radius), but if you’re bored during a backyard BBQ, you can set the device to emit real predator sounds. These
species-specific distress cries will make the birds think they are in danger.

Complete with adjustable volume, a timer and varying patterns, the company claims it’s ‘virtually impossible for birds to get used to any one pattern.’

I’m a big believer that we should just let nature/wildlife be. However, in situations like my parking lot at work, where two large trees make it impossible to park under in about 10 spaces, I can see the need for such a device. Besides, it’s more humane than chemicals, nets or fences.

Anyone know when the human version is set to be released?
