raidframe

Meet the RAIDFrame™, a swappable backup system that provides the world’s largest capacity of removable media.

Based on Redundant Array of Inexpensive Disks (RAID), the removable cartridge holds up to 3 Terabytes (TB) of uncompressed data (5TB compressed) on a single partition.

Approximately the same size as a high-end tape drive, the system attaches directly to a fileserver or workstation using a single, industry standard, eSATA cable running at 3 Gigabits per second. It can also be connected with a USB 2.0 port for emergency and/or portable use.

If your data network is starting to swell to ungodly proportions, and you have the need to move large amounts of secure data to different locations, then the RAIDFrame™ might be for you.

While RAID systems aren’t new, the RAIDFrame backup system makes an entire 3 drive RAID array, and its controller, removable as a cartridge.

No special drivers are needed, but $2306 is.
