Kaiyodo’s Revoltech line is currently the king of the hill in the superposeable figures market. The toy manufacturer’s figures are bestsellers and new designs are eagerly awaited by toy collectors worldwide.

The current two-toys-a-month schedule has been faithfully followed and this is what’s generating the build up of interest among Revoltech fans. Number 50 in the Revoltech line has been confirmed to be Gurren Lagann from the hit anime series. The figure absolutely rocks and could be one of the best mecha figures in the whole line. There are speculations that a number of versions will be released as limited editions but there are still no confirmations on this.

Number 51, on the other hand, is the Regult figure from the Macross anime. Not much of a fan of this figure. It does look cool but a figure without arms is very low on my buy list.

The two new figures will be released this May. I can’t wait to  buy my Gurren figure and also for the announcement of the new figures in the line.
