The House of the Dead franchise is a very famous and entertaining franchise from the Sega software house. Thanks to it’s success it spawned various offsprings and sequels, each one more awkward than the last. And this one is the most awkward of all.
English of the Dead is a modified House of the Dead in which you have to type the missing letters on some english words that are pronounced by the console and written in a square (in Japanese of course).
It even has a trailer, as wacky as most Japanese game trailers are, with some memorable quotes and moments like the one just in the beginning:
“Come on, friend.
Write or I’ll bite!”
Regardless of how good or bad this game ends up being, the amusing trailer certainly lit up my day.
