The Premier League has officially ended with Manchester United (go Red Devils!) winning the Premier League by two points over Chelsea. With the Champions’ League to be decided on May 22 in a match between the ManUtd and Chelsea, the 2007/08 season has been another great one for Sir Alex’s boys.
As a big football fan, I’m quite elated that my team has come out on top again! I may not have won in the Fantasy League I joined (better luck next season!), but my love for the sport has grown tremendously this year. So much so that I have been voraciously playing various football games on my different consoles.
I’ve resurrected Pro Evolution Soccer 2007 for my Playstation 2 and I’m also playing the very innovatively designed Pro Evolution Soccer 2008, which has clearly redefined the whole football dynamics for ANY console. I am having so much fun going against some of the teams that really posed a challenge to ManUtd, and also discovering the deep talent pool of other teams that I have been largely ignoring because of my deep love for ManUtd.
I can’t wait for the next season to begin so I can refocus my attention to the Fantasy League.
