In the land of the rising sun, releasing a gadget with different colors is (usually) a sign of how successful that product has become. Just look at the Nintendo DS, the PSP, most consoles, Sony Vaios (yes, Japanese ones sell quite well) and etc.

The three new colors, baby blue, lime green, and light pink, are all very light and bright, which might make them more appellative to women than friends, but overall, they don’t make or break the product’s image.

1I’d actually like one in the baby blue – very nice. It’s just this sort of product differentiation that can make a marketplace that bit special. Lovely!
