I remembered a crave last Christmas, to get a radio controlled car! Santa wasn’t a bit nice because I just couldn’t find the “right” one for me. I wanted one that screams COOL… RUGGED… GREAT…

I’m so glad I held on to that craving because this is a definite ride for me. It may take time, probably until next Christmas to get my hands on it because the price tag of this baby is a lovely US$1,100+. Ouch! Just like getting myself a brand new entry-level model Macbook. Should I dare… I have about 8 months to find out. Hey but nobody’s stopping you… check it out right here.

Ok, here’s how it works… simple really, but the tech behind it is one to admire: A camera is mounted on the R/C car, you wear a video receiver, you pump the juice and well… away you go!

I think I saw this from a movie plot before, ah yes… Home Alone 2 or 3… whatever. Ah, but here’s the plus feature… when you turn your head… the camer turns to that direction too. AND you can hear your toy’s motor thru earphones.

Cool… too cool….
