Before you read… click this and download it!
I’m a guy who likes all things updated, that is why when they announced the released of Firefox 3, I just had to grab it pronto! Today, it has been downloaded close to 20 MILLION times!
Wall Stree Journal has called Firefox 3 a “record breaking release”, within 24 hours of its announcement it was downloaded 8.3 MILLION times already… they did the math and came out with 283 downloads PER SECOND. Can anyone beat that?
While Internet Explorer still leads the browser use kingdom, Mozilla Firefox is a hungry little David waiting by the sidelines. I think it’s happy just where it is now. It’s FREE, it’s FAST and it WORKS!
You know you just have to make the upgrade punch when you see these top features:
- One-click bookmarking
- Instant website ID
- Improved performance (of course!)
- Full zoom on any part of a webpage (I like this!)
- A password manager
- Smart location bar
- Platform native look & feel (hmmmm….)
- A website library
- Tagging capability (like del.icio.us)
- ahh… and so many more

I’ve had it since RC1. But I’m running the portable version. I’m still running FF2 until they update my theme to work with FF3. Stupid maybe, but I’m waiting.
I run it for my Meebo window, where it works and doesn’t suck like it does on FF2. Plus if I don’t manage to blow up FF2 (it’s happened a couple of times), then Meebo is still working.
