Well, it’s official. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of The Patriots is a kick-ass game. Some people have even said that it is the best game ever made. I really don’t know about THAT since I still haven’t played the game but from what I’ve seen and read, MGS4 has indeed raised the bar for what the perfect game should be.

Hideo Kojima has made the game that he can really proudly call his masterpiece. The visuals are just stunning and all of the technical elements of the game are just spot on. A lot of critics are also talking about how seamlessly the gameplay and the narrative are intertwined — that, my friends, is one of the holy grails of game development and Kojima has achieved it.

I am actually rushing this post because I need to go to my favorite game store, beat off all of the drooling fanboys with no reservations with a stick, and get my copy of the game. Bye!
