I’ve been so busy with work this weeek that I have almost no time to do anything else, even read the news so I was quite pleasantly surprised to find out about the Metal Gear Solid database that was made available as a free download this week.

I discovered it this weekend when I decided that I deserved a worry-free and stress-free weekend without the thought of work. I went to check out the Playstation store before continuing my MGS adventure and I found out about the database, which I promptly downloaded.

The database is a great gift to Metal Gear Solid fans who want to read more about the history and mythology of one of the most beloved game titles ever made. I think it’s a fitting sendoff to Solid Snake. I just read that Europe will now also get the database this week, which is definitely good news to European gamers.
