I’ve been burning the midnight oil the past few days for a project I’m involved with. Last night was the clincher as I had a marathon all-nighter to finally put the project to bed. It was a gruelling day that started at 10:30 am and ended 5 am the following day. I was exhausted, I could hardly move my hands and my first thought was to go to bed and sleep as soon as I get home.
It was such a surprise then to discover new stores of energy when I went home because my Rock Band Special Bundle finally arrived! I was so excited that I forgot about how tired I was. I tore open the box and immediately assembled the peripherals in record time. It was a surprisingly no-frills and easy affair. I didn’t even need to look at the instructions once. I am now looking at my Rock Band controllers and itching to play it. That’s where I have to stop though. I still have enough self-control to stop myself from playing.
Rest first then rock on the whole weekend!
I’d quite like to have a go of the drums out of all of those. I play guitar for real so that one doesn’t hold much attraction.
