If you’re like me then you love your gadgets. You might well even have a dedicated PC system set up to serve as a media centre in your living room. That’s going to be my next project as the Xbox 360 I wanted to use for that purpose hasn’t exactly lived up to expectations. However, there’s always the question of what exactly you can use to control your media centre if you’re not fond of the small remote they often come with.

This is where the Logitech DiNovo Mini Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard comes in. It is more of a small keypad than a full sized keyboard, as it’s quite a small, palm sized little thing. It comes however with a media remote and a ClickPad – so what is hasn’t got in physical size it more than makes up for in capabilities.

The ClickPad functions as both a touch pad and a directional pad, so you shouldn’t be too lost without it. It may well last longer than your standard remote too – as the Li-ion batteries have a life of a month between each charge. If you’re going to be doing any inputting when say watching a film in the dark, then don’t worry. The keypad is backlit to provide ease of use.

Naturally, as it has wireless, it comes with Bluetooth to allow reasonable distance control. The build quality is quite good and the design itself is a nice little package. Once you’ve used one for your media centre, I doubt that you’ll want to look back. I found the demonstrator easy to use, quick to set up and it looks quite nice with the clasp closed.

It is available now for around £79.99 ($140 dollars).  You can read more about it here.
