I’ve owned 2 digital cameras all my life.  My first one was a Sony 4 mega pixel camera, loved it for a few months UNTIL the slim models with larger than 2-inches LCD screens came along.  I was squinting too much for comfort that I had to shelf that cam to upgrade to one that would suit my tired old eyes.  Next cam… the Canon Ixus 650 camera.

Now my Canon camera still remains a favorite, I literally bring it everywhere I possibly can.  It’s my point & shoot buddy, slim and compact… ah, that’s why I love it too much.  Because most of the digicam that’s coming out these days have more pixels than enough one major criteria that makes me stick to my current cam is the physical size.  For me, the slimmer a digicam is, the better.

This is why my head’s turning to look at the Casio EXILIM EX-Z150 .  This cam is a beauty!  The LCD screen is so crisp and bright I’m thinking of shifting already.

The camera has just been launched in the far east, offering an 8.1MP sensor, 28mm wide angle lens, 4x optical zoom, face detection and a YouTube capture mode (640 x 480 at 30fps for up to 10 minutes per film).

Expect it in Europe in the coming months.
