One of the games I was most excited about in the recently held E3 is DC Universe Online. I know, the superhero MMO has been done already with City of Heroes but with generic superheroes it’s just not that much fun when you compare it with the possibility of role-playing someone like Batman or the Green Lantern (I’ll never choose Supes, I think he’s a dork).
The somewhat gritty look of DCU Online is something that I am also quite excited about. This could mean a decision to go all dark and noirish with the game, which I think is the right direction to go. I can’t wait to play this game when it arrives.

1try reading the release and you’ll see that you can’t play as Batman, Supes, or any other named character. The best you can hope for is running into them.

2Yeah thats why Marvel scrapped theirs in the end, you cant have thousands of the same character running around but then again who wants to be some generic character?
