In Steve Jobs’ last presentation, he mentioned that iPhone is becoming a viable third computing platform–and he could well be correct in that assessment because a growing number of developers are now making different apps for Apple’s Jesus phone.
Even id Software is jumping on the iPhone bandwagon with the announcement that it is developing a Wolfenstein RPG for the device. I think there’s something quite poetic about releasing a spiritual successor to a seminal game on a platform that could also usher in the formation of a truly unique computing platform.
Expect Wolfenstein RPG for the iPhone later this year.
