SoariPod

Travelling from coast to coast and you can’t book first class for those airline movie channels?  Hey, been there and have been bored to the floor.  I didn’t have an iPhone nor an iTouch back then soooo was just stuck to the in-flight mags and the crappy peanuts. :)  Anyway, now that I do have an iTouch, I tried watching my podcasts while in-flight.  Turned it off after thirty minutes, really uncomfortable to hold a gadget (eye-level) for 30 minutes straight.  SoariPod fixes that nuisance for me.

I think I’d need one soon, for US$29.99 it just relieves me to keep holding my gadgets.  Clip-on… that’s magic to me, baby. :)  While it does look like a Gorillapod, SoariPod I believe will probably make it’s special mark in the accessories market.  It isn’t as “loud” as a Gorillapod. It doesn’t hold your gadgets to anything, unlike Gorillapod too.

The only drawback is that SoariPod needs something to be clipped to, which is understandable.  Limited use though.

I received my soaripod last week and you would be surprised :) on how many places that you can actually clip the soaripod to. I myself was shocked! I had it on a bottle of olive oil in my kitchen watching my videos. I have had it on my babys highchair. I take it in my car and clip it to my vent, it is perfect to make dialing easy. Also, when I use speaker, it makes it nice and easy to hear and talk without the dangers of holding it. The clip is amazing. It sort of stretches around sooooo many surfaces. I think I love the soaripod as much as my G3. I can’t imagine one without the other.

  2. It does clip onto almost any surface and securely holds iPhones and iTouches. You can watch videos or blogcasts almost anywhere with this gadget.

I purchased a soaripod for each of my teenage girls, just to use at night. I found that they would sleep with their phones next to their head. This bothered me. So when I saw how the soaripod held the phone it was the perfect solution. They clip it on their night stand and they now use it in their car so they aren’t reaching to find the phone. I feel that I am being a responsible parent!!!!!
