With the iPhone 3G being released to the rest of the world this weekend, it’s quite expected that nifty apps for the iPhoe and iPod Touch will come out at the same time.

One of the most useful I’ve seen is the new IGN Game Reviews Application that is now available on iTunes. The app allows users instant access to IGN’s game reviews, including its video reviews. One cool feature is the ability to filter which platforms you want to see. So if you only want to see PS3 and PSP reviews, you can do so without having to wade through titles in consoles you don’t own.

The app, which is available for free, is a great tool for people who need a quick reference to titles that they want to buy at the store.
