MTV, realizing the potential of maximizing its use for its very popular Rock Band property, is reportedly preparing a new show that revolves around the Rock Band 2.
Based on an ad at Craigslist, MTV is going to mount an official Rock Band 2 show with Mark Burnett as the producer. The ad is a job posting for four people who can “show us their stuff live on stage for the chance to win the Ultimate Rock Band experience.” The ad further stated that experience is not important. The ad also suggested having themes or hooks that will set them apart from other people.
This is an interesting concept, especially for a huge Rock Band fan like myself.
