I have rediscovered Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.
I did watch the pilot episode of this sci-fi series but was not suitably impressed enough to actually start following it (I watched it after the dismal Bionic Woman pilot so it may have had something to do with my disinterest). But raves from my sci-fi loving friends made me check the series out again.
And I was pleasantly surprised.
It may not be as compelling as Fringe but the new Terminator series is still a decent sci-fi show. It’s refreshing to see the Terminator mythos given more meat and soul, which is so different from the soulless and brainless Terminator movies.
I just finished the first season and I’m now eagerly looking forward to some free time so I can watch the second season episodes.

1I’d agree – it is more than worthy. I unfortunately only saw half of the first series but I’ll be picking it up on DVD.

2Hey, what to think of the brainlessness of any fiction that uses the premise of time-travel to make a drama plot? I mean, it’s definitely not a very safe place to invest much logic, but at least it’s got killer robots. And that’s just too irresistible.
