Stores here in the USA are all getting ready for the holidays. I just saw a whole lot of giftcards down at Food for Less bearing some Thanksgiving and Holiday motif. They’re getting as colorful as they can be to catch the viewers eyes. But all these I think will bow down because Target’s gift cards, I think, would be the best.

Is it a card (?) or is it something else. When I first saw the design I thought “it could be a keychain too”? But that’s lame I know! Lol. Anyway, Target’s gift card is ALSO a digital camera. Yes, it’s a gift card that also doubles as a digital camera. Maybe to record your friend’s glee when they go around shopping by your courtesy. Cool idea eh?

Let me give you the camera-side features first (a little basic, but cool nonetheless):

- 8MB of board memory able to store about 50 images
- 1.2 mega pixel (a little small, but me think it’s OK)
- runs on 2 AA batteries, has a USB cord and a self timer
- comes with a driver disk, instruction manual and a voucher for 40 free prints from the Target photo center. (cool eh?)

Card details:

- comes in reload-able amounts of $50 and $100
- has no other fees if used for purchasing
- amounts therein does not expire

When I first heard about this gift card I tried hunting for one at the Target store near us. But all I saw was “placeholders” saying they’re all out and I should wait for the clerks to put some up. Well I’ve waited and waited… it seems that the only place I can see them to actually get one would be online. I’ve seen some hanging on Ebay… for an extra $10 bucks more from the card’s list price. Sigh.
