In the world of Japanese gaming, you have established game development companies that have made a name for themselves with their popular games – Square Enix, Namco, Bandai. But there are also upstart companies that are creating a buzz around their exceptional work. One of them is the strangely named game company Brownie Brown.
Brownie Brown has been getting a lot of attention for making Blue Dragon Plus, one of the most anticipated anime-based games this year. Siliconera had a rare opportunity to reveal the inner workings of the company through a great interview with Shinichi Kameoka of Brownie Brown. One of the interesting information from the interview is that despite Kameoka’s roots with Square, Brownie Brown is actually owned by Nintendo.
