I whistled the sexy tune when I first saw this, and you would too I know! :) The Phonofone II special black design is by Tristan Zimmerman for Charles & Marie. The price (?) a hefty US$600. Yeah, I know, it’s more expensive than your already pricey MP3 player. The Phonofone is a retro-designed speaker set for your iPod. What you may not know is that this isn’t powered by AC nor DC. Through passive amplification alone, these unique pieces instantly transform any personal music player + earbuds into a sculptural audio console. Without the use of external power or batteries, the Phonofone II inventively exploits the virtues of horn Read more »

Striket Magnetic LED light
This LED light is so small it virtually is able to fit anywhere. But don’t let the size fool you, this carries a power LED light with about 12 powerful neodymium magnets. These little stickies are able to attatch itself to any metal based surface AND is able to let you shoot the light at any possible angle. This is perfect for cramped spaces where there’s little or no room for the smallest traditional torch to be held for adequate use. You’d never clutch your lights with your teeth ever. Read more »
Sexy Waterdrop headset
Oh, I know what you’re thinking, this has got to be the sexiest bluetooth headset in the planet. Hey I don’t blame you at all, because in my book IT IS. I’m not that all too tired about geeky headphone sets, they do serve their purposes quite well, in fact I am using one… Plantronics Explorer 360. I could tell you though that there are places I wouldn’t be caught wearing it… like if I’m in a formal event in a Tuxedo or suit. It just is “too loud” to wear paired with it don’t you think? Sports games to use MotionPlus revealed by EA
Expect Nintendo to really push for its newest peripheral, the Wii MotionPlus. The gaming giant is pinning a lot of hope on the new attachment that will give super accurate motion sensing capabilities to the Wii-mote. Nintendo is already preparing for the launch of a number of high quality games that will take advantage of this new gaming dynamic when the Wii MotionPlus debuts in June. Nintendo is hopeful that third party developers will also begin pushing for the MotionPlus attachment. Already, EA has announced two games that will take advantage of it — Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 and EA Sports Grand Slam Tennis. Grand Slam Tennis will reportedly Read more »
Onechanbara Bikini Samurai Squad Review (Xbox 360)
The image on the cover of the game says it all really, a scantily clad woman brandishing two swords, just waiting to carve up the zombies contained within the game. Whilst on many other sites you’ll find that Onechanbara is taking a rather critical panning, I’m going to look at the game a slightly different way and review it accordingly. Story Onechanbara Bikini Samurai Squad is driven by a nonsensical story that centres on Aya and Saki – the ‘Samurai Squad’ of the title who have Baneful Blood. This blood allowed them to be excellent assassins and general all round bad-asses, before settling down for a more quiet life. However, Read more »
Chopsticks Trainer
Of the international types of cuisines, which one is your favorite? I would be hard pressed to choose just one but at this moment, I would have to say Japanese food. There is something about miso soup, shrimp tempura, and the wide assortment of sushi that I just can’t resist. And what better way to eat Japanese food than to use chopsticks? Read more »

I was watching Apocalypse Now How on TV earlier and I got this hankering for all things solar. You know, the Milky Way, blackholes, the sun, the moon – anything related to these things. And when I saw the Sun and Moon Jars over at Think Geek, my geek radar just went wonkers! These two lights work based on very simple technology. Get a mason jar (you know what they are, right? They’re the glass jars used for canning vegetables and fruits), throw in some solar cells, batteries, and low energy LED lamps, and you have a unique lighting fixture. Read more »
