mac_mini_colorsjpg-500x339jpg I’ve known Apple for their standard white, gray or black color preference. I’m not really sure why they prefer the grayscale family, but we could all see that it works.

Here’s a refreshing way to put the Mac Mini to the colorful road. A company online is offering to skin it for about US$199. I know, quite a little on the expensive end is it?

For those who don’t know, anodizing is a scratch resistant finish applied to aluminum that comes standard on most Apple computers. The only problem is, they don’t offer this finish in different colors. So to fix that problem, we now offer anodizing in a rainbow of colors and styles. Similar to plating, anodizing can be finished in a flat, brushed, or a polished look designed to make any color you choose stand out of the crowd. Mac Mini’s start at $199 USD.

Now we understand why it’s so expensive. If you need or are in the urge to color-up, I think this is the best you can get out there.
