This is a great idea! And, of course, I would have naturally thought of it too… but someone beat me to it, LOL. But really, isn’t this a practical invention that should have been invented like 10 years ago? I remember having such a hard time using the regular power strips with all my big gadget power adapters. It was such a nuisance actually to have to consider the size of power adapters when purchasing my gadgets. They all have to exist cohesively with my Macbook’s LARGE and bulky power adapter. Sigh.

This marvel is from Designer Jeff Carter called the “Movable Power“. It’s still in concept but I sure wish it quickly picks up and reaches the assembly lines. Great idea if it would include plug-adapters as well, don’t you think?

For the meantime, and for those who couldn’t wait, you may want to try out the Power Squid (I’ll post about this later). It provides the similar convenience the Movable power does. A little eerie though to have a “squid” living under your table! haha.
