K95 USB waterproof 2GB flash drive

K95 USB waterproof 2GB flash drive

By some wierd inspiration we now have the K95 waterproof USB drive, and rightfully shaped like a submarine at that. I remember my nephew loosing all his 5th grade homework when he “forgot” his USB drive which unfortunately was washed by good ‘ol mom. Where’s your homework? The teacher asked… errr… my mom washed it! But you have to give this young boy the credit of having something original to say. I guess his excuse of “the dog ate it” isn’t believable now. It happens to the best of us, I believe. We can’t really tell when we would honestly forget where our USB drives are and too late to Read more »

Power Squid – Surge Protector

Power Squid – Surge Protector

Well, didn’t I tell you I’d post another surge protector gadget a while ago, here it is. The Power Squid, I think is one of the most practical surge protectors available today. Invented by Christopher Hawker, it is by far the most flexible, most adaptable and user friendly power strip available. My first encounter with it was at Office Max about 3 weeks ago. I think I saw the black model which I think was a little to eerie for me. I ended up purchasing a Belkin power strip instead. It seem sfrom the Power Squid website that it is also available in off-white and gray colors. I wish Office Read more »

Movable Power Strips

Movable Power Strips

This is a great idea! And, of course, I would have naturally thought of it too… but someone beat me to it, LOL. But really, isn’t this a practical invention that should have been invented like 10 years ago? I remember having such a hard time using the regular power strips with all my big gadget power adapters. It was such a nuisance actually to have to consider the size of power adapters when purchasing my gadgets. They all have to exist cohesively with my Macbook’s LARGE and bulky power adapter. Sigh. Vision One Computer Workstation

Vision One Computer Workstation

The first time I saw this set-up I thought it was a grooved-up rock band drum set of sorts. I could imagine the ultimate geek swatting away some heavy beats. Those pads around the chair sure does look like drum pads don’t they? Although these would surely put a little smirk at your bandmates faces. Or probably an embarrassed smile excuse that says “I’m with an idiot! haha”. But this setup is the Vision One Computer Workstation, the pads you see there are armrests, the mouse pad, and speaker stands. It has a 3-monitor stand provision for those who like to see more things in perspective. I think this is Read more »

Transformers sequel toys incoming

Transformers sequel toys incoming

I haven’t been buying toys lately because I haven’t seen any new toys that has caught my fancy. The last action figure I bought was a DC Direct Batman as an addition to my growing Batman action figure collection. The only other addition to my collection was a Long Halloween Batman that was given to me as a gift by my brother in law. But it looks like this long drought is about to end. With the new Transformers movie, Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen, to be released in just a few months I, and my wallet, am gearing up for the inevitable deluge of Transformers toys. I’ve been a Read more »
