Well, didn’t I tell you I’d post another surge protector gadget a while ago, here it is. The Power Squid, I think is one of the most practical surge protectors available today. Invented by Christopher Hawker, it is by far the most flexible, most adaptable and user friendly power strip available.
My first encounter with it was at Office Max about 3 weeks ago. I think I saw the black model which I think was a little to eerie for me. I ended up purchasing a Belkin power strip instead. It seem sfrom the Power Squid website that it is also available in off-white and gray colors. I wish Office Max carried them.
Features include:
- 5 grounded adapter-ready outlets
- 540 Joules
- LED Indicator Lights
- 3 ft. Cord
- $100,000 Connected Equipment Warranty
- Power Blocker automatic shutdown technology
I like the warranty… $100,000! Now that’s a solid belief by the product that it won’t damage any of your gadgets. There are several models to choose from, and the price do change between them. You can see them all right here.
