I have never been a morning person, and waking up before noon has always been a feat for me. While I have been waking up before half of the day is over for quite some time now, it does not mean that I like it or that I have gotten used to it. In fact, every now and then, I get these spells wherein no matter what I do, no matter how many alarms I set, I just CANNOT get out of bed. This has led me to think that I need to take some drastic measures.
Enter the Danger Bomb Clock.
This alarm clock is nothing like I have ever seen before. It seems that the traditional metallic ringing and clanging alarm clock has nothing on this one. You see, this alarm clock is a bomb – in a good way, that is. When you set it to a specific time, instead of emitting an irritating beeping or a nerve wracking ringing, the Danger Bomb Clock will EXPLODE! Well, make an explosive sound, at least. I am pretty sure that that kind of sound will be beyond irritating or nerve wracking – it should simply wake you up, yes?
What is cool is that you cannot turn it off by simple pressing a snooze or off button. It has three “codes,” which is randomly set when you indicate an alarm time. And you have to be able to choose one of these “codes” in order to diffuse the bomb. That means a little bit more of mental work, which may very well be what wakes you up.
All this for only $28 – a good investment if it will wake me up in time to do more work.
