Avid fans of the moe-anime K-ON can probably recall the scene involving Mio’s blue and white striped bowl from episode 6. Those of you needing a little reminder, or who haven’t seen the scene before, it can be found on youtube. Of course, due to Mio’s popularity, it’s only natural that anything involving her would eventually be marketed to hardcore fans.
The anime clothing and merchandise company, Cospa, didn’t disappoint with the announcement of a lunch set which includes Mio’s striped bowl to be released later this year. However, a few lucky fans did manage to get their hands on this item a couple months early at Comiket 76. Unfortunately, Comiket 76 ended on August 16, so anyone still wanting to get thier hands on this special bowl early will likely have to turn to some Japanese auction sites as there probably won’t be any more available until the actual release date.
