Last week I made my way to an “everything must go” sale. It’s a once a year thing for a local distributor of gadgets and accessories and it’s turned many a geek into violent alpha males as they squabble over USD $89 5th gen iPod nanos. I for one am overflowing with iPods (I currently am on my fourth iPod) so I was immune to this infection. What I did find was a stock of IDAPT chargers — there were about 7 left as the sale was ending at midnight (I arrived at 10:00PM).

Have you seen these? They’re fairly new. The IDAPT I3 is really a simple concept implemented quite well. The dock plugs into the wall. From the dock you have the option of inserting up to three device ends, from USB, Nokia (small and big), Nintendo DS, PSP, Samsung and iPhone / iPod ends. In my retinue of gadgets, buying this for about USD $30.00 was a no brainer. Attach this to a wall adapter to your car and you can charge three of your most important mobile devices in one go.

The IDAPT I3 comes with 6 different ends, one for each brand I’ve mentioned above. But you can also purchase individual ends for USD $5.00 a piece.
